All bodily activities boost our physical fitness and enhance our overall health. Frequent training can enable our immune system to work properly, and also protect us from the many bodily dysfunctions. It in addition prevents depression, fatigue, and of course, helps our self-esteem.

Many people perceive themselves as not enough tall. This affects their self-esteem, and they also feel that being taller can boost their sense of security. Still, there is no sure way to increase your height to a desired level. That doesn’t mean that you can’t increase your height at all. There are some simple stretches that you can do every day that will help you gain a few inches.

These exercises are pretty easy to perform and you can do it in the comfort of your own home. Actually, they are some of the exercises that people would do to get in shape. Usual body sculpturing exercises can help you get taller. This is why you don’t have to tell anybody that you are not satisfied with your height, and that you are trying to increase your height by exercising. You can simply tell them that you are trying to stay fit.

Stretch Exercises

There are three stretch exercises that will probably help you solve your height problem. Try to do at least 4 or 5 repetitions, each one for about 15 seconds.

The Leg Stretch

For this exercise, you need to sit down on the floor and spread your legs wide apart. Keep them straight, with your toes pointing up. With your left hand, try to reach your left leg toe, and with your right hand, right leg toe. If you can’t reach your toes, start doing this exercise by reaching your hands as far as you can. After touching your toes, slowly get back in the starting position. The important part is to keep your back straight, and do not arch the back bone.

The Bow Down

Stand up, with your hands on your hips. Slowly try to bow forward as much as you can. Try not to touch your chest with your chin. If you want to do this exercise properly, it is important to keep your legs straight and not to bend your knees.

The Yawn

This exercise looks like stretching in your bed in the morning. Actually, it is almost the same. You need to stand straight with your hands behind your neck and try to look upward and back as far as you can.
