Recipe for Apple-Cinnamon Oat-Bran Muffins
The first thing to do is get a big bowl and mix together half a cup of oat-bran, a cupful of whole wheat flour, a quarter of a cup of ground flaxseed, a teaspoon of baking soda, one and a half teaspoons of baking powder and finally a teaspoon of each cinnamon and nutmeg.
That bowl is to be left aside for the time being and the next thing to do would be to whip up one egg and four teaspoons of canola oil together until they are completely blended. When they have, one third of a cup of applesauce and a quarter of a cup of sugar should be added into the mixture and then the whole thing should just be carefully mixed into the first bowl.
When the entire batter is as blended together as it can be, it should be poured in small paper cups and baked in an oven that was preheated to 350 F degrees up until a half an hour.
Recipe for Papaya & Pineapple Muffins
This time, before even starting to prepare the batter, the oven should be preheated to 375 degrees F. The process starts off pretty much the same, with the slight adjustment of some of the ingredients, and that is with putting together a cupful and another half of whole wheat flour, half a teaspoon of baking soda and a teaspoon and a half of baking powder, as well as two teaspoons of cinnamon.
The second part of the process differs completely, however, as it requires using a blender this time. First of all, a cup of sliced papaya, half a cup of squashed and drained pineapple and a third of a cup of yoghurt should be placed inside it until they are nicely blended.
When that’s done, an egg, two teaspoons of canola oil, a quarter of a cup of sugar and a quarter of a cup of agave syrup should be mixed into the first blended mixture. After that, the mixture should be joined with the flour mixture and walnuts and cranberries are to bi sprinkled all around it. Finally, the muffins should be baked for about twenty minutes.
