You will need to preheat the oven to four hundred and fifty degrees. In a bowl you can beat the egg along with the half-and-half, oil and the sugar after which you can set the bowl aside. At this point, you can fill the muffin cups so they are three quarters of the way full of the mixture. They can be baked for about twenty minutes maximum and tested with a knife which if it comes out of the muffin wet, they are not done yet. The knife needs to come out just ever so slightly damp.
