We all like to see and even more to have great looking body, which will be spotted right away on the beach or at the pool, but it is not so easy to achieve that. This is probably because most of the people go to a gym or work out at home without really having some plan or course that will make their bodies very attractive, though not in the matter of weeks. That is certainly too short because for something like that, months are needed.

Abs

What does this mean? Are six pack abs really that far away? Yes and no. This depends on the amount of excessive fat tissue that people have in the abdominal area. The problem with stomach is that is the natural storage of fat tissue, so if there is more fat tissue than needed, it is accumulated in this region and unfortunately, that becomes visible after a while. So, what must and has to be done about it?

First of all - stop overeating! Not because of the poor quality of the food that many people consume, but because overeating will definitely widen the intestines and that will result in bigger stomach. Actually, the size of the stomach directly depends on the dimensions of intestines and not the amount of excessive fat tissue.

After reduction of the food intake, structure of meals has to change as well. No more junk food, all that is allowed are fruits, veggies and healthy meat, with some whole grains and a bit of low fat dairy products. Fibers are also needed because they will prevent accumulation of waste material in the colon, and that material will be stimulated to leave the organism.

Physical activity

Second of all – begin with some exercises! Unfortunately, without this part, those six packs will stay nothing but a dream. What is the correct abdominal exercise that gives you ripped abs? Crunches, sit-ups, leg raises and dozens and dozens of variations are the focusing exercises. Cardio workout should also be applied, especially if there is a lot of excessive fat tissue present. Cardio workout is an excellent choice for elimination of extra fat all over the body, including the abdominal area.

It is also important to perform these exercises correctly. When performing sit-ups and crunches, hands are usually crossed behind the head and even placed on the neck pushing it forward towards the chest. Wrong! This can only hurt the neck area and that is far from what is wanted with this exercises. Neck line has to be the same as spine line with eyes looking up and not front. Not only is this a correct way to perform these forms, but it makes them more effective and strengthens the core some more.
