Introduction to the Cottage Cheese Crash Diet

One of the most popular diet fads of the last several years has been the cottage cheese crash diet.

It is a good diet for someone who wants to loose a serious amount of weight in a very short period of time.

When a diet is given the name “crash,” it is understood that it is a very extreme diet that will deprive the body of many essential nutrients and at the same time, be very restrictive.

Such a diet is used to loose a lot of weight in a short amount of time and also avoid starvation methods.

Also, such a diet is not recommended to be implemented for a long period of time.

This diet differs from other similar crash diets because it is chemically balanced. It is a simple diet and most of the food that is needed for the diet is already found around the kitchen, nothing exotic.

No only this, but cottage cheese on its own has been known to have many health benefits.

The Diet Plan

During this crash diet, the person will eat in between 1,000 and 1,200 calories per day.

Grapefruit is also an essential part of the diet. It is well known that a combination of high protein food and grapefruit is excellent for burning fat and will result in rapid weight loss.

Also, the diet should not be followed for more than 3 to 50 days.

For breakfast a person should have a cup of black coffee with no sugar or milk and some cottage cheese with one piece of toast as well as a grapefruit.

For lunch, the person will eat cottage cheese with wheat bread and a grapefruit. And then for dinner, the person will eat a vegetable salad with cottage cheese and yet another grapefruit.

There is also another version of the low carb diet in which the meals are divided into smaller meals that are more frequent. After three to five days of this diet, it is recommended to go back to a regular low carb diet in order to continue with the weight loss program.

In this alternative diet, the breakfast is the same, who a seasoning can be put on the cottage cheese. In mid-morning, a person should make a salad with one egg, tomato and salad vegetables and a seasoning as well.

For lunch, the person should have an apple or a small bowl of watermelon or two citrus fruits.

In the late afternoon, the person should consume 100 grams of low fat cottage cheese with paprika or cucumber and for dinner, the person should eat another low carb fruit.
