Whole Wheat Vegetarian Lasagna Ingredients

A vegetarian lasagna is healthy but it can be even healthier by adding a whole wheat to the mix. It will still be rich and very creamy regardless of the whole wheat. You will need eighteen ounces of whole wheat packaged lasagna noodles, nineteen ounces of frozen spinach, half a cup of parmesan cheese, three eggs, three cups of a low fat cottage cheese, three cups of pasta sauce, and three cups of mozzarella cheese.

Whole Wheat Vegetarian Lasagna

You will now need to pre heat the oven to three hundred and twenty five degrees. While you are waiting for the oven to heat up you can mix together the beaten eggs, parmesan cheese and the cottage cheese. Now you can spray a glass baking dish in preparation and place one layer of somewhat cooked lasagna noodles on the bottom of the dish and add half a leaf of spinach on top. Add a second layer now made of cottage cheese and follow this with the spinach again. Now add another layer of the noodle lasagna and place the pasta sauce over the top with mozzarella cheese. The dish can be covered with foil and baked for around an hour and fifteen minutes, uncover the dish for the final few minutes.

Vegetarian Tofu Lasagna with Spinach

You will need half a pound of lasagna noodles, two ten pound of chopped spinach, a pound of soft tofu and a pound of hard tofu, one table spoon of sugar, a quarter cup of soya milk, half a tea spoon of garlic powder, two table spoons of lemon juice, three table spoons of basil, two tea spoons of salt, and one thirty two ounce jar full of tomato sauce. Pre cook the lasagna as the package directs and pre heat the oven the three hundred and fifty degrees. Make sure the spinach has been squeezed dry. Put the tofu, soymilk, garlic powder, sugar, lemon juice, basil, and salt into a mixer so it becomes smooth. In a baking pan put tomato sauce in the bottom followed by a layer of lasagna and a layer of tofu followed by a layer of spinach. Keep doing the order again. Cook this for half an hour and serve.
