Characteristics of Zits Under One's Skin
These acne or pimples are absolutely the same as any other. They result from clogged or dirty skin pores getting infected. Also, they manifest themselves through swelling, pain and irritation accompanied with discomfort and tenderness. Physically, zits are small swellings on the skin, usually red, with white pus in the middle. As far as reasons behind these pestering things are concerned, there are a few, although they are usually connected with hormonal activity. Therefore, these are most usually seen on the skin of teenagers.
Causes of Zits Under Skin
First and foremost, as mentioned above, specific hormonal activity causes zits to appear. Namely, due to overproduction of oil by the skin glands, the pores get clogged, capturing bacteria inside skin. The bacteria then cause inflammation and the creation of pus as well as all other symptoms of zits, pimples or acne. Since all this is triggered by hormonal activity, they are considered responsible.
Nevertheless, other things may cause skin problems of this type as well. Malnutrition, manifesting through deficiency in essential fatty acids may also trigger zit formation under one's skin. Finally, zits can also be triggered by some allergens in the nature or some medications the persons may be taking.
How Does One Get Rid of Them?
In any cases of serious acne, or zits both on the surface and under skin, it is best to seek professional help, visiting a dermatologist. However, there are several things you can do in order to reduce the reasons behind zit appearance.
First of all, you need to keep your face clean by washing it with an antibacterial soap several times a day. This will prevent the pores from getting clogged thus reducing the risk of zit formation. Secondly, there are several remedies known to help, so you may try these out as well.
Honey is known to have antibiotic characteristics. Therefore, applying it onto a zit may result in its disappearance. Lemon juice can be mixed with honey creating an even more effective remedy to be applied topically. Additionally, one may consider mixing baking powder with water and applying the solution on the troublesome skin problems.
Finally, you may try numerous cosmetic products made specifically for the purposes of removing acne, zits or pimples. What is important is not to eat food high in fat. Rather, have a diet rich in vegetables and fruits and drink a lot of water. Do not try to pop or squeeze out the zit, as it will most probably only make things worse.
