Creativity Against Pimples

Pimples, or zits, as these are also referred to, are a skin condition manifesting through infections caused by clogged skin pores. Pores are clogged by oil and bacteria found on the skin. Hormonal imbalance may be behind this condition as well since it can cause over-productive oil glands. Also, poor hygiene may cause dirt to inhabit a person's pores, having the same effect. Finally, certain medications may affect skin negatively, triggering excessive activity of the oil glands. This all results in these pestering anomalies formed usually on a person's face, chest or back, causing pain, discomfort and self-confidence issues due to the negative visual appeal ofpimples.

People have been trying to do away with pimples since the first time they have noticed them on their skin. There are numerous cosmetic products, home remedies and different methods of getting rid of them. However, one innovative way has caught the attention of many. Namely, some people claim that applying toothpaste on a pimple may make it disappear quicker than usually. Many people have been wondering, if this is true. Thus, we have decided to shed some light upon the perplexing topic.

Toothpaste vs. Pimples

First of all, toothpaste may be useful for these purposes. However, many things need to be taken into consideration beforehand. The effectiveness of the toothpaste varies from one type to another. Also, your face plays a very important role. If you have a very sensitive face skin, the toothpaste may irritate it, making things worse. This stands for people with dry skin especially. Toothpaste, although consisting of many antibacterial substances useful for these purposes, contains elements which may dry a person's skin. Therefore, people with dry skin should not use toothpaste for pimple removal. Other people might use it, but they have to make sure they do not leave it on for longer than half an hour. Finally, do not expect miracles to happen, since it might or might not work on you. Everyone's skin is different, and every toothpaste is different. If you are lucky enough to find a good match, you will surely benefit from treating pimples with toothpaste.

How Is It Done?

Firstly, remove all make up and additional things from your face by washing it with a gentle, antibacterial soap. Afterwards, wipe your face dry with soft towels without rubbing too hard.

Next, squeeze out a small amount of toothpaste onto the tip of your finger. Then, place it onto the troublesome pimple and wait for it to dry and have a certain effect. Make sure you do not apply it violently since, that way, you will be risking pimple irritation, only making things worse. Finally, you may either wash it after a period of half an hour or leave it overnight if your skin is not too dry. Then, go to sleep and hope that the annoying thing is gone in the morning.
