Cleansing is perhaps the most important step in proper skin maintenance and care. There are various types of cleansers available and they are very efficient in removing oil, dead skin, grime and dirt from the skin and keeping it radiant and fresh. Most soaps have a very high pH value so they easily strip the skin of its natural oils and make it much rougher. Commercially produced cleanser may also be too rough because of harsh chemicals contained so one should stick with natural facial cleansers. Natural cleansers do not contain any harmful ingredients. The most ingredients include glycerin, grapefruit extract, aloe vera, licorice extract, rose hip oil, chamomile, lavender and green tea.
