Sautéed Lamb Chops Ingredients

This dish is mostly used as a side dish, it is very easy to make. You will need four lamb chops that are one and a quarter inches thick and are one and a quarter pounds. You will also need pepper, vegetable cooking spray, and a tea spoon of vegetable oil, quarter a cup of onion that is chopped, a tea spoon of cornstarch, one cup of water that is divided, one tea spoon of beef flavoured granules, and lastly a tea spoon of Worchester sauce.

To make this side dish you need to start by trimming the fat from the lamb followed by sprinkling a little pepper over them. Now you need to heat up a skillet with cooking spray and oil, once it is hot you can add the chops for five minutes on both sides and then set aside somewhere warm. Add the onion to the skillet and allow in to sauté. Now you can mix together the cornstarch and a little water around one table spoon and mix together and put into the skillet with the onion once the onion is tender. Add the granules of beef and the Worchester sauce, once the granules have dissolved you can include the lamb back to the skillet and allow the water to boil. After which you need to reduce the heat and allow to simmer for around five minutes.

Recipe for Leg of Lamb Au Jus

This recipe will be very impressive at your dinner table. You will need a leg of lamb, five garlic cloves that are halved, a carrot, onion, celery stalk that are all chopped, pepper and salt, a sprig of thyme, three table spoon of butter, two table spoons of Dijon mustard, and two table spoons of bread crumbs. You need to pre heat the oven to two hundred and thirty degrees. Rub garlic into the lamb and pierce the lamb so you can apply the cloves. The lamb will need to go into a dripping pan on top of the carrot, celery and onion, apply salt and pepper. Mix the thyme, butter, bread crumbs and mustard and brush the combination onto the lamb and cook for maximum of an hour.
