Many different conditions and factors may trigger pimples on your forehead. First and foremost, this area is quite active when it comes to oil production and tends to be oily, clogging the pores where bacteria may get trapped leading to infections and inflammation, giving birth to pimples. This can also be triggered by malnutrition, hormonal imbalances, stress, pregnancy etc.

The main problem with these pimples seems to be the aesthetic one since these growths are clearly visible and can look really unattractive, especially once the pimples get filled with pus. Thus, many desire to get rid of this skin problem and keep it at bay for years to come.

Home Solutions

You do not need to visit your dermatologist if you start experiencing pimples appearing on your forehead. All you need to do is to use some of the following, natural treatments, as soon as you notice pimples forming. This way, you will stop them from forming completely, getting rid of them effectively, even before they affect your forehead area visibly.

Since oily skin is one of the main causes of pimples on the forehead, you need to take good care of your hygiene. This being said, wash your hair regularly and make sure it is clean and away from your forehead. If you have dandruff, deal with it since dry or greasy scales of dandruff may only make the pimple problem worse once they affect your forehead as well.

Alternative Treatments for Pimples on Forehead

If you have acne pimples on your forehead, you can get rid of them by using Fullers Earth. All you need to do is mix it with water, creating a paste, applying a thick layer onto the troublesome skin area. Using rosewater for this purpose can even amplify the positive effect.

Another great way of keeping pimples at bay is sandalwood paste. Make a piece of sandalwood wet and rub it onto a stone, making a paste. Take this paste you have made, add rosewater or cucumber juice. Alternatively, take two teaspoons of sandalwood powder and mix it with a teaspoon of honey and half a teaspoon of turmeric powder. Once this paste is complete apply it regularly onto the problematic forehead skin and you will soon be free of pimples.

Lemon juice is great for pimple scar removal and drying the pimples themselves. Apply it directly or with a cotton ball. Again, mixing lemon juice with rosewater can prove to be an excellent combination for your skin.

Use any of these treatments twice a day, for about 2 weeks, keeping your face and hair clean in the meantime. If all these methods fail, seek help from your dermatologist.
