A good remedy is to take a cool shower and then use some ice packs on the areas of the body that itch the worst.
People can also use moisturizers that can be bought over-the-counter in order to keep the skin from getting to dry. It is also a good remedy for the itching.
Sometimes people who sweat a lot can have a harder time with skin problems and various reactions and infections. It is a good idea to keep the body cool and to sweat as little as possible in order to relieve the intense itching.
Another good idea is to wear loose and comfortable clothes, preferably made entirely of cotton. Tight fitting closes and further contact between the skin and clothes will only make the situation worse.
