It is important to get a good coat of lotion onto the skin and to cover all exposed parts of the body adequately. The lotion also works best if it is given some time to be absorbed into the skin, which means that a person should be applying the lotion about 20 minutes before they decide to move into the sun.
Sunglasses are recommended to be worn, because the area around the eyes is very sensitive to sunburn. The glasses will also help protect the eyes from the glare of the sun. Sunburn around the eyes can sometimes be very painful, so it is best to protect that area as well as possible.
If a person does get burned, then a good remedy for this is Aloe Vera gel. It should be applied to the skin for almost 15 minutes in order to reduce the burning sensation on the skin.

By mixing a teaspoon of milk powder, a teaspoon of honey and a teaspoon of lemon juice with a half teaspoon of almond oil and applying it on the face, a person will be able to get the old glow back to the face and remove the tanned skin.
