Toxins - overview

No matter how healthy a life one tries to lead, it is inevitable for the body to be under the influence of the various kinds of toxins that it is exposed to on a daily basis. Pesticides, fertilizers, insecticides, herbicides and fuel fossils are among the substances that harm the body considerably because of their poisonous effects. Apart from these, toxins are also likely to be found in the body when drinking unsanitary water and consuming processed, artificial food products. This is not an issue that should be neglected and it’s quite necessary to pay attention to the ways to improve the digestion and make sure that the toxins are not built up in the body.

Food changes

The most basic thing to do is abandon all the unhealthy food choices which are made with a lot of chemicals and switch to the more organic and natural kinds of food. Fruits and vegetables are the most important part of this diet and those that are known for their detoxifying effect include cauliflower, broccoli, asparagus, any kind of berry fruits, onions, garlic, and lemon. Natural beverages such as teas and pure water are also very helpful when it comes to releasing the toxins from the body. And although the mentioned food kinds are effective when consumed separately, the best option is to combine them into healthy recipes as that will bring the best possible results.

Healthy recipes

One of the most helpful recipes is the easy wilted garlic-sesame salad. The first thing to do is warm a teaspoon of olive oil in a pan. When that’s done, a clove of minced garlic should be added to the pan and gently whisked until it reaches a kind of golden color. Afterwards, a kilo of both spinach and Swiss chard should be mixed with the garlic until they are soft and squishy. Finally, the salad is to be flavored with a pinch of salt and pepper and sesame seeds are to be added.

Another very useful recipe is the avocado-cucumber spicy spring soup. This soup is extremely easy to make, as all it requires is taking all the ingredients and blending them together. The ingredients include one whole avocado, two onions, half a pepper, one whole spinach and some spinach. The amount of it should fit the preference, although it shouldn’t be too great. Finally, the mixture should be flavored with some light vegetable Bouillon and some freshly squeezed lemon juice.
