This is because they are full of fiber, proteins, mono-unsaturated fats, and antioxidants and also they are very low in carbohydrates. Seeds are also a wonderful source of nutrients. Seeds include pumpkin, sesame, sunflower and squash seeds are all low in carbohydrates. Many people will roast the seeds even though this is quite a chore. You can simply dip the raw vegetables in a low carbohydrate dip or even some peanut butter. To make jerky all you need to do is cut some fat-trimmed beef or turkey into narrow pieces, and then marinate it in a liquid that is either salty or sweet followed with a slow, low drying process. This is a great snack especially for those suffering with diabetes. Make sure you buy meat that whole muscle meat rather than the processed, artificial meat.
