One of the ways to get rid of annoying anduncomfortable piles is to practice Kegel exercises. In Kegel exercises, thepelvic floor muscles are contracted and relaxed. The pubococcygeus muscle isvery important for the Kegel exercises. The pubococcygeus muscle controls thestarting and stopping of urination. These exercises should be performed fivetimes a day with sets of ten to fifteen contractions.

Yoga may also help in treating hemorrhoids. There arecertain yoga techniques, such as stretching and bending exercises, which includeabdomen and tights and which are very effective in curing this condition. One shouldstand straight and then lift each leg one by one to the level of the waist. It isa simple stretching exercise that should be performed for three minutes in thebeginning, especially in the morning.
