Most people love to throw a party. It is almost like a competition between friends and neighbors. You certainly don’t want to be known as the only person who did not throw a great party with wonderful food. People want to be the best, have the best cutlery, give the best presentation of food and so on.Finger Food

Finger food can pose a threat to your waist line, picking at food a little here and a little there can be a problem. This does not have to be the case at all, if you are clever with the finger food you lay out for your guests. For example, you can create a chicken satey. First cut the chicken into cubes and marinate it in a combination of two tablespoons of soy sauce and two tablespoons of honey, as well as one tablespoon of dark brown sugar and one tablespoon of sesame seeds. After that, add a crushed garlic clove. Once marinated in the fridge for a few hours you can put the cubes of chicken on to a long kebab sticks. After this you can cook the chicken under the grill and finally serve with them a peanut butter sauce that has been loosened with a modest amount of sesame oil combined with soy sauce and honey. You can place a toasted baguettes that has been sliced and has tuna on top of it with olive oil, cannellini beans, chilli flakes and basil besides chicken.

As a desert, that is easy to do and relatively healthy, you can try combining banana slices and strawberries with melon pieces and partially dip them into melted chocolate that you have prepared and then simply refrigerate them until you’re ready to serve the guests their desert.Relaxed Light Food

Simply make and cool a combination of 120ml of wild rice and 224ml of brown rice, place three diced tomatoes, apples, cucumber and spring onions into the mix coupled with some toasted walnuts and dried cranberries. To finish off this recipe, add a dressing such as a pasted clove of garlic, mustard powder, olive oil and white wine vinegar. Alternatives for a Sweet Tooth

Simply roast a peach with a sprinkle of brown sugar and a small amount of butter for around twenty minutes on 200C. This can be served with a yogurt since it is an excellent combination. Do not forget to prepare a fruit salad and arrange it in an interesting fashion, as this is easy to make and healthy to eat.
