These long and flat implants suit narrow jawbones better. Incisions will be made, their number will correspond to the number of implants placed, and anesthesia will be administered during the procedure. Also, once the implants are placed, the gums will the stitched. After the period of 3-6 months, the healing will end.
  • The third method is the plate or root form implant. In some cases it will be impossible to place this kind of implants, so Subperiosteal implants will have to be used.

Cost

The regular price of this procedure goes from 1200 to 3000$, but it can even cost more than 15000$ in more serious cases with bone grafting involved. Also, costs of X-rays, bone grafting, anesthesia and other will have to be explored before opting for the dental implants. Dental colleges and other locations may have certain discounts. Also, certain states may have lower prices.
