This is why so many doctors advise people with arthritis to switch to a vegetarian diet because that way they will reduce the symptoms. However, this diet should include fish as well. People with inflammatory disease will also benefit a lot from a vegetarian diet.

Broccoli should be a very important part of the diet because it contains glutathione. Glutathione is known to be a highly powerful antioxidant and detoxifying agent. Apart from broccoli, this ingredient can also be found in asparagus, cabbage, cauliflower and tomatoes.

Eating fish is highly important, especially those who are rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Apart from inflammation, omega-3 fatty oils are good for the joints as well. Some of the fish that contain these oils are anchovies, bluefish, salmon, mackerel, herring, sardines, tuna and sturgeon.

People should also include more pineapple to their diet due to a certain enzyme called bromelain. Olive oil should be used as often as possible as well.
