Patients suffering from arthritis should eat food rich inomega 3 fatty acids. Tuna, trout salmon, mackerel, sardines, and herring are thehighly valued sources of these fatty acids.
Different kinds of pulses and grains are proven to bebeneficial for arthritis patients. Therefore, they should include brown rice,whole wheat bread and lentils into their everyday menu.
Cooking herbs can reduce the joint inflammation. Many arthritispatients experience improvement of their condition when they start usingginger, garlic and turmeric in the meals.
Fruits rich in vitamin C are highly appreciated in arthritispatients. These include almost all fruits, including strawberries, apples,mango, kiwi, peaches, etc. Doctors recommend eating vegetables, such as: bellpeppers, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, collards, spinach and sweetpotatoes.

What to Avoid
Some food must be avoided, because it could worsen arthritispain. Meat is not good for you, especially red and fatty meat, if you have arthritis. Avoidsalt, sugar, soft drinks, soda, dairy products, caffeine, food additives, corn andflour.
Stressful lifestyle might also worsen arthritis, so makesure to avoid, or at least decrease unnecessary stress in your life.
