Castor Oil Massage

Castor oil is most beneficial when massaged into the scalp. Use a piece of cotton, dip it into the castor oil and apply oil on the scalp. Distribute the oil evenly and gently massage the scalp. After that, wrap your hair in the plastic shower cap and a towel and leave castor oil on the scalp and hair for some 15 to 20 minutes. After that time, remove the cap and towel and use a mild shampoo to wash your hair. Some recommend using the paste made of fenugreek seeds and hibiscus to wash the hair, instead of the shampoo. The treatment should last for 6 weeks ans you should wash your hair once a week for the whole treatment.

Castor oil might benefit some people experiencing hair loss but not all of the people. If your symptoms and hair loss don’t get stopped by castor oil treatment it might be necessary to consult your doctor. He/she will get to the root of your hair troubles and perhaps offer a solution that will work.

To prevent hair loss - take care of your hair. Wash it regularly and use products suitable for your scalp skin. Whenever you can, use hair masks to invigorate your hair. Always make sure to protect your hair as well as your skin from the sun and salt, especially, when you are on vacation.
