Hydrocele

Hydrocele is a small sac, which is filed with fluid and which appears around a testicle. The appearance of hydroceles may lead to the swelling of scrotum, which is placed underneath the penis. Usually, this disorder appears in men at birth, while otherwise, it can be developed as the consequence of some inflammation or the scrotum injury. When hydroceles appear, they are not painful and do not require any treatment unless the scrotum swelling occurs. If a man notices the swelling of one of both testicles, it is recommended to pay a visit to a doctor.

Home remedies for hydrocele

There are some effective suggestions that can help in treatment of hydroceles. First, it is very important to get rid of the toxins that caused the hydroceles. For the first ten days, the man who has hydroceles should consume only fruit meals, but warm water enema and unsweetened lemon water are also very effective in fighting against hydroceles. When those first ten days pass, specific diet must be followed. Breakfast should include milk, grated raw carrot and fresh fruit, while lunch should contain steamed vegetables, eggs and baked apple. There is also water treatment for hydroceles. Twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, the man who suffers from hydroceles should take cold baths that last about ten minutes. Furthermore, once or twice a week, hot Epsom salt bath should be plasticized. It is advisable to avoid consuming of coffee, alcohol and strong teas, as well as condiments and pickles. Furthermore, smoking is also forbidden because it may aggravate the condition.

The most beneficial homeopathic remedies are arnica montona, graphites, hydrocotyle asiatica and iodium ,as well as pulsatilla nigricans, rhododendron and rhus toxicodrendon. In the case when severe swelling accompanied with eczema appears, graphites are highly recommended. When the testicles are painful and hard or swollen, it is advisable to use iodium.

Pulsatilla nigricans should be used when painless hydroceles affect only left testicle. In the cases when hydroceles affect right testicle and when condition becomes worse with the weather change, the best homeopathic remedy is rhododendron or rhus toxicodendron.
