Harsh soaps are known to dissolve the natural moisturizers and oils in the skin. This is why people should use mild cleansers with moisturizing properties. Avoiding hot baths is very important because hot water is known to cause dry skin. People need to bath with warm water and do it in less than 15 minutes. Swimming pools are also a danger for the dry skin because of the chlorine. When shaving is considered, people should choose alcohol-free creams and gels with moisturizers.
