However, blue waffle is widely known as blueberry waffle, and for many people the name sounds pretty yummy. The vaginal infection got its name since the infected vagina looks like gross blue or green or violet blubbery waffle.

The experts have not declared the blue waffle infection as a disease, but this infection exists and it is considered by many that it is an elusive sexually transmitted infection. This infection may appear in men as well, although it is much more frequent in females. The infection in question is a vaginal parasitic infection which is also familiar as trichomoniasis. The urethra and the vagina in women are the most infected parts of the reproductive system.

Causes of blue waffle infection

The main cause for the outbreak of this infection is still unknown, but there are several potential causes which may be responsible for the occurrence of this condition.

Blue waffle infection may be triggered by weak immune system which is unable to fight certain diseases when they occur in the body. Furthermore, constant exposure to stressful situations and an unhealthy diet low in essential nutrients are also considered to be the possible causes for the infection.

Other causes of blue waffle vaginal infection are wearing of tight underwear, using vaginal sprays and unprotected sex, as well as consummation of contraceptive pills, using of tampons or certain instruments into the vagina. Cuts or abrasions of the vaginal area may also cause the occurrence of blue waffle infection.

Symptoms of blue waffle infection

The most typical symptoms of this infection are itching, inflammation of the vagina and strange yellowish and clumpy odorous vaginal discharge. It is very important to consult a doctor when any of the symptoms above mentioned are noticed since they may indicate either blue waffle infection or any other reproductive system disorder.
