There can also be another underlying medical cause of the night sweat occurrence related to some severe infections. Because of the infection, body temperature rises above the normal level and that leads to night fever. Infections that can cause those kinds of night sweats include tuberculosis, endocarditis, osteomyelitis and HIV infection. Another cause for night sweats can also be andropause. Even though it usually appears after 40, if may also occur at 35 and in this case, the level of hormones is changing, which causes misbalance. The good thing about andropause is that it is just a temporary phase and that doesn’t last for too long.

There are also other causes for night sweat in men who are under 40, but they appear less often, and include some disorders, thyroid problems, lymphoma (cancer) etc.
