Cold sores

Moreover, to eliminate cold sore very quickly, the infected person should put ice packs on the sore because the growth of the virus is reduced by the cold temperatures. The one with this condition should not eat foods rich in acids, such as oranges and tomatoes, and she should avoid drinking of soda.
One of the natural cures for the cold sores is garlic. It is considered to be very helpful for the treating of cold sores. It can be applied on the sore, or eaten. Putting the tea bags on the sore several times a day for fifteen minutes is also very effective. To get rid of the cold sore fast, it is recommended to apply the toothpaste before going to sleep. The toothpaste is good for the drying out of the cold sore. Applying peroxide or a lot of petroleum jelly on the sore can be also very effective.
