Consuming plenty of yogurt may also be of great help when it comes to reducing the severity of the symptoms of vaginal yeast infection. Buttermilk may also provide the patient with similar results when consumed on a regular daily basis. Honey and vinegar may also be used for the topical treatment of vaginal yeast infection. Tight fitting, synthetic or wet clothes should be avoided.
