Introduction

Urinary tract is consisted of the bladder, kidneys and tubes between them, and urine is bi product of the body. Urinary Tract Infection or UTI is also known as cystitisis. Most infections of urinary tract are connected with bladder infections. UTI infections are not serious, and if treated right away, it can be relatively harmless. On the other hand in not treated immediately, it can spread to your kidneys, and infections of the kidneys can be very dangerous.

UTI is mostly women’s disease, but men, older people can have it too, as well as teenagers, and sometime little children. Pregnant women, people who do not drink enough fluids and people with diabetes are in the elevated risk to have UTI.

Symptoms of UTI

First symptoms of UTI can be burning or pain while urinating. Other symptoms of UTI may be chills and fever, urine smalls bad or is cloudy, burning or pain when you urinate, need to urinate frequently, but not much urine is passed, heaviness or tenderness in your stomach, pain in one side of your back in place of kidney, nausea and vomiting, etc.

There are also some herbal remedies that you can do in order to relieve the symptoms of UTI. If you have the early stage of UTI, by using those herbal remedies you can stop the infection from spreading.

Celery seeds contain the oil apiol, which have antiseptic properties. Plantain herb is effective fluid cleanser, and corn silk is particularly useful herbal remedy in cases of irritation. Dandelion is excellent herbal diuretic and Cleavers can act as alternative.
