Prostate gland can be found in the male reproductive system and it is placed directly below the bladder. It is usually the size of a walnut and its job is to secrete a milky white alkaline fluid. In this alkaline fluid there are semen, spermatozoa and seminal vesicle fluid. The problem of an enlarged prostate is not so uncommon and it usually strikes men over the age of 40. Other names for this condition are prostate gland enlargement and benign prostatic hyperplasia.
The case of an enlarged prostate is not malignant. However, there are specific enlarged prostate symptoms observed. Some of the symptoms are frequent urination, urinary urgency, problems in starting, inability of urinating or not being able to completely empty the bladder.
