Avoiding taking hot baths or showers can be useful with regard to staving off dry skin. Tea tree oil and baking soda can be used in the cleansing process. Woolen and nylon clothing can also be potentially irritating to the skin, which is something that one should keep in mind. There are many products on the market that claim to help with dry skin. However, there are often more suitable home remedies that one can use in order to combat the problem of dry skin.
