Moisturizers are commonly used for this sort of problems by a majority of people. However, before applying the cream, people need to scrub the dead skin first. By getting rid of the dead skin, a person will expose the soft skin that lies underneath it. It is important not to damage the skin while a person does this. Once the dead skin is removed, a person should apply the cream.

Epsom salt is another common remedy for dry feet, especially the severe cases. A person should put the salt in a big vessel that contains warm water and dip the feet in for 20 minutes. After that time, a person should remove the dead skin with a foot file quite easily. The same process can be done but with baking soda instead of Epsom salt. People can also dip their feet in vinegar solution and that will also restore the softness of the feet. A person should add a cup of vinegar to four or five liter of water.

Olive oil is another excellent remedy for dry feet. People should simply rub the olive oil on the affected area. However, before applying the olive oil, people should clean the feet with soap water solution, scrub them with a pumice stone and dry them.
