Hormonal imbalance affects the women of all ages. It is most common among middle age women, but a growing number of young women is nowadays becoming affected with hormonal imbalance.

Symptoms of hormonal imbalance in women

Symptoms of hormonal imbalance may vary from mild to extremely severe. Most commonly, hormonal imbalance makes a woman feel depressed and nervous, affecting her social life and normal day routine. Women may also feel exhausted and weary. The feeling of extreme fatigue often results from a feeling of heavy emotional burden. It is not unusual for these women to start losing hair while the facial hair starts to grow. Unpleasant physical symptoms may even add to the feeling of anxiety and make a women feel even worse. In many cases, hormonal imbalance ends in serious depression.

Hormonal imbalance may provoke a weight gain in women, and the women may often feel bloated and swollen. The skin may appear dry and flaky and frequent headaches and migraines are the common health complain. Additionally, women suffering from hormonal imbalance may experience the severe lack of sexual desire.

Hormonal imbalance is a treatable health condition that can be identified by conducting a basic blood test. There are many efficient treatments available, from prescribed drugs to nutritional supplements and healthy lifestyle moderations.
