A person can suffer from sudden lower back pain because of the slipped or herniated discs. Hernia occurs when the discs bulge or rupture because of some injury. Apart from the injury a person may suffer from a herniated disc because of sudden pressure on the lower back or improper movement.

Spondylolysis

Trauma, injury or a fracture can cause spondylolysis to occur but it occurs mainly because of a congenital defect. Sudden lower back pain treatment

The cause of the pain will determine the treatment. A person should go to the hospital if the pain does not go away after some time. Pain killers and sprays are used when the pain is not severe. Bed rest is an essential part of the healing process. A person can prevent sudden back pain by simply sitting properly.
