Prenatal work-outs
High-impact aerobics may be out for you during your pregnancy, but working out is still a great way to get rid of excess energy and calories. Prenatal yoga isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it may be a nice way to relax if the slow pace doesn't annoy you. Otherwise, there is swimming, walking, or cycling. Weight lifting during pregnancy can be safe too, but you should discuss the details with your doctor first.
A nice meal
Food is a great way to relax, especially if the meal is wonderful and doesn't induce morning sickness or heartburn! Why not get together with a few favorite friends for a nice lunch at a restaurant ladies only? Getting the right nutrients and preparing meals can be rather time consuming during pregnancy, so why not take the work out of it and have a nice chat with your friends while you are waiting for your lunch to appear?
Massage
During pregnancy, your joints will become looser and you may be more prone to muscle aches and pains. As your baby bump grows and the weight of your load increases, your back may suffer, and the same goes for your lower legs and feet. Pregnant women who are particularly stress may have tense shoulders and neck muscles too. The best way to relax, in this case, is by getting a professional massage provided by a physiotherapist who has experience with pregnant women.
Read a good book, and go to the cinema
Not at the same time, obviously. These are both things that you may not get the opportunity to do any time soon after you give birth. Going to the cinema, especially, is very hard. I missed out for years after I gave birth, and then when I did go and see a film it was Kung Fu Panda! Go and enjoy grow up movies while you still can.
