First of all, you need to know and pinpoint the exact causes of your stress. Think about your problems, since we often ignore or suppress our troubles and needs, especially when stress takes its toll. Once you have pinpointed the culprit behind your stress, deal with it by using some of the followingtechniques.
When we are stressed, we tend to breathe irregularly. This makes us take shallow breaths and make longer pauses between our breathing. However, we need to breathe deeply and slowly, filling our whole lungs with air. Take a rest, spread out on the bed and dedicate 30 minutes to slow, deep breathing, inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.
Next, you need to socialize. Isolation is the last thing you need when you are facing problems. Thus, surround yourself with positive, creative and happy people and be such yourself.
Also, introduce exercising in your life. This will keep you fit, in good shape and happy. Thus, you can only benefit from such an activity. Three times a week, 30 minute sessions are more than enough for maintaining a healthy condition. Thus, bear this in mind.
Finally, make sure you organize yourself well while working since this will give you plenty of time and control over everything you do, leaving no chance for stress. Also, after every hard working day, do something nice for yourself. Take a walk, indulge into your favorite hobbies or, simply, daydream a bit, visiting your happy place where you can relax and think about positive aspects of life you are bound to appreciate.
