Each person takes cares of his/her face skin since the face somehow defines us since our face is the thing somebody notices first at us and we remember the others by their face. The facial skin is the most sensitive area on our body and that is the reason why we should take care of it properly by moisturizing it and preventing the sun and wind to damage it. When the skin is dry it more vulnerable to irritations and also tends to age prematurely. However, even if we take care of our ski it may still develop some conditions, mainly due to certain genes. The most common conditions that can affect the facial skin are eczema and rosacea, as well as psoriasis and acne.

Eczema

Eczema is a chronic disease in which the skin is marked by inflammation, redness and dryness. It mostly occurs in children but the adults may also develop it. Eczema is most recognized by the feeling of the intolerable itching and rash which it causes. The people with this skin condition should avoid using soaps and should stay away from certain foods and dust mite since it may only aggravate the condition. On the other side, the skin should be well-hydrated and moisturized with special moisturizes made for the sensitive skin.

Rosacea

Another chronic condition of the skin is rosacea which affects the blood vessels. This skin condition usually occurs in the adults from 30 to 40 years of age, especially in those who are susceptible to blushing. The main symptom of the rosacea is the appearance of red blotches that contain hard pimple. The hot and inflamed rash appears due to enlarged superficial blood vessels on the face. Therefore, everything which results in widening of the blood vessels should be avoided.

Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic skin disease which usually begins on the scalp and then gradually expands down to the face. This skin disorder usually does not occur in the young children since it typically appears first in late teens. It is manifested through red, itchy and scaly skin while the main distinguishable symptom of psoriasis is the occurrence of silver scales which appear on the skin rash. Psoriasis is not a curable condition but there are treatments which relieve and control the symptoms.

Acne

There is no person in the world who has not experience the outbreak of acne which almost always occur whenever there is some hormonal imbalance in the body. The first outbreak of acne appears in puberty since in this period of life there are many hormonal fluctuations. Therefore, it is important to maintain the hormonal balance so as to prevent the outbreak of acne.
