When the skin is dry it more vulnerable to irritations and also tends to age prematurely. However, even if we take care of our ski it may still develop some conditions, mainly due to certain genes. The most common conditions that can affect the facial skin are eczema and rosacea, as well as psoriasis and acne.

Eczema

Eczema is a chronic disease in which the skin is marked by inflammation, redness and dryness. It mostly occurs in children but the adults may also develop it. Eczema is most recognized by the feeling of the intolerable itching and rash which it causes. The people with this skin condition should avoid using soaps and should stay away from certain foods and dust mite since it may only aggravate the condition. On the other side, the skin should be well-hydrated and moisturized with special moisturizes made for the sensitive skin.

This skin condition usually occurs in the adults from 30 to 40 years of age, especially in those who are susceptible to blushing. The main symptom of the rosacea is the appearance of red blotches that contain hard pimple. The hot and inflamed rash appears due to enlarged superficial blood vessels on the face. Therefore, everything which results in widening of the blood vessels should be avoided.
