Definition and description

Womb is an organ located in the lower-abdominal area of a female body. Its main purpose is to provide a place for a fertilized egg to develop into a fetus. Additionally if the egg has not been fertilized and the woman is not pregnant the egg is expelled during the menstrual cycle and the process itself starts anew.
