Signs of breast cancer in young women

Signs of breast cancer in young women

The change in the nipples is considered to be the very first signal of the breast cancer. The nipples may be pushed inward and may turn red in color. Pain, irritation and the nipple discharge may also point towards the presence of the tumor in the breast. Change in the breast size and form are other warning signs of breast cancer and while some women experience breast enlargement, there are also those women whose breasts decrease in size. The breast cancer also causes certain changes in the texture and color of the affected breast, so it may turn red or pink in color. This change may happen on a certain area of the breast only, or it may develop on the entire breast. Scarring and the indentations may also be symptoms of the breast cancer and the young women should not ignore them. The most common and recognizable sign of this serious breast ailment is the appearance of the breast lump, which represents a hardened tissue, which differs in density from the surrounding tissues and which can be felt when carefully touched. The lump may be formed either in the breast or in the underarm, and it is not very painful, but just tender.
