Ryzolt is a medicine which belongs to the group of pain relievers, and which is usually prescribed to the adult patients who experience moderate or severe chronic pain. It functions by affecting certain chemicals in the brain and central nervous system, and therefore, it is very similar to morphine, which means that there is a possibility of developing addiction, both physical and psychological. This is also the reason why it is not recommended to use it for the pain which does not last long, or which is not severe, and, since it has a long-lasting effect, it should not be taken more than once a day.

Since this medicine is prescribed by the doctor, it is the important to inform him about the use of some other drugs, or even supplements and minerals, if the patient uses any, since in combination with certain other medicines, Ryzolt may cause some serious side effects, or even leave some permanent consequences. Some of such medications are carbamazepine, cyclobenzaprine, antipsychotics, antihistamines, and antidepressants, medications for sleep, for relieving the pain, triptans and St. John’s wort. Some of them may decrease the effectiveness of Ryzolt, and vice versa, some may cause seizures, difficulties with breathing, or even the loss of memory, while symptoms of serotonin syndrome are also possible. People with certain conditions of liver, lungs or kidneys, as well as those who used to be addicted to drugs or alcohol, who have some allergies, or who have seizures or some behavior disorder, are not advised to use this medicine. The doctor should be extra careful when recommending Ryzolt to pregnant women or those who are breastfeeding.

Side effects of Ryzolt

The most frequent side effects of this pain reliever are constipation, nausea and dizziness. Only a bit less frequent, are vomiting, headache, loss of appetite, problems with sleep, increased sweating, hot flashes, diarrhea, weight loss and pain in the joints. These symptoms should disappear after a while, so it is not necessary to go to the doctor right away, or to stop using the medicine. However, in case a person experiences signs which indicate allergic reaction, serotonin syndrome or seizure, it is definitely necessary to seek for medical help. The same applies to those who experience irregular heart beat, anemia, dehydration, depression, or changes in the blood pressure, although, when it comes to these symptoms, it does not necessarily mean that they are caused by the use of Ryzolt. However, they should not be ignored.
