Arthritis refers to a group of conditions that affect the joints of the body. To be more precise, it is a chronic inflammatory disorder that most frequently affect the small joints of one’s hands and feet. There are a few types of arthritis. Symptoms of this condition are: joint pain, swelling, joints that are extremely tender to touch, weight loss, fever, tiredness, red and puffy hands, and morning stiffness that may last for several hours. Symptoms may vary in severity and may even come and go. Flare-ups interchange with periods of relative remission, during which the swelling, pain, difficulty sleeping, and weakness fade or disappear. If taken daily, it helps with the inflammation.
