The metabolism

The metabolism is the course of breaking down the proteins, carbohydrates, and fats to get hold of the energy the body needs to function and preserve life. Metabolism decides which substances will be nourishing and which of them are going to be venomous to the organism. The metabolic rate, or speed, scales how much food an organism needs. People with high metabolic rates can normally eat more food without gaining extra weight. However, everyone can regulate their own metabolism – the rate at which the body burns calories. That means that everyone can lose inches and lose them fast. Here are some proven methods that may help increasing the metabolism.

Hydration

Water makes up 70-80 percent of our bodies. Proper hydration will improve one’s looks, clear the skin, help detoxify. Suitably hydrated cells will even tighten the skin and make the old skin look much younger. An average person should drink eight glasses of water a day. However, water is constantly being released from our bodies through breathing, and sweating so the daily doses may vary depending on the seasonal or climate effects and one’s lifestyle. An excessive loss of water may be provoked by alcohol, caffeine and sugar intake, that slow the assimilation of water. Water may reduce the feelings of stress, a lack of energy and tiredness and it will also help control the appetite.

Detoxification

Humans are constantly in contact with a number of toxins. They come from the air, from food, even the body produces its own toxins as a result of stress, anxiety and fear. The body’s natural way to get rid of the toxins is to process them through the liver, kidneys, lymphatic system and skin. However, in some cases, the body can’t manage all of the accumulated toxic waste and it keeps storing it in our joints and fat cells.

Symptoms such as headaches, insomnia, depression, gastrointestinal problems, skin problems and weight loss, usually point to excessive toxin supplies.

Detoxification programs will help release toxins from fatty tissues and joints and affect a healthier look and feel, bringing new energy. There is a choice of several great programs: body warp treatment, juice diets and others.

Exercise

Regular aerobic exercise will elevate the heart rate. 30 minutes to an hour of cardio workouts performed every day is enough to get trim and healthy rapidly. The heart has to reach its target zone and work under pressure for at least 20 minutes before starting to burn fat. Simple instructions should be followed to determine one’s target zone. One should try having a simple conversation during the workout. If speaking clearly without difficulties, one is probably in the 50 - 80 percent heart rate range, a fat burning zone. Any sign of difficulties while speaking means one is pushing too hard. This means the intensity of the workout should be lessened and the time frame prolonged, which will result in even more calories being burned.
