Introduction

Some of the most common parasites that attack the intestines are protozoa and helminthes. Protozoa are characterized by having only one cell and they commonly multiply inside the human body. Helminthes are organisms that consist of numerous cells and they can be divided into groups of roundworms, pinworms and tapeworms.

All parasites are commonly transmitted by infected feces. Some people who have intestinal parasites never get to experience any symptoms, while those who do usually experience nausea, stomach pain, fatigue, abdominal pain, rashes, gas, abdominal bloating, weight loss, dysentery, and vomiting.

Homeopathic remedies cannot be used for the treatment of intestinal parasites but they can be of great help when it comes to relieving some of the symptoms associated with intestinal parasites.
