Nausea and Diarrhea
Many diverse factors contribute to the creation of this very common problem. They are associated with the problems such as swine flu, diverticulitis, pregnancy, food poisoning and several others. The uneasiness in the stomach is a problem called nausea, while increased bowel movement, or change in the looseness are associated with diarrhea. But these two problems are created and connected with several medical problems. Although sometimes nausea can lead to vomiting, none of these problems causes great problems.
Causes
One of the most common causes is certainly food poisoning, mostly due to the presence of a certain bacteria called E. coli or staphylococcus. Once the problem is created, a person will experience vomiting, nausea, diarrhea and abdominal cramps. This problem may lead to bigger problem in the form of dehydration.Next possible cause is the pregnancy, which is something 50 to 90% women experience during pregnancy. This problem, usually experienced in the beginning phase of the pregnancy, is caused by a hormone imbalance. But, food causes diarrhea and not the imbalance of hormones. For this problem, take some vitamins, exercise and drink a lot of water. The third possible cause is the diverticulitis, which is a large intestine disorder, associated with the colon in which pouches are created. In these pouches, feces can remain and produce infection and problems like bloody stool, diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, constipation, bloating and pain in the abdomen.Appendicitis is the appendix inflammation, which also causes pain, which aggravates over time. Also, fever, vomiting, loss of appetite and nausea are experienced. The problem will become worse if the appendix ruptures. The diarrhea and nausea can be caused by food allergies, due to the realization of the proteins located in the food as foreign bodies. Then antibodies are released and this causes problems associated with food allergy, such as diarrhea, nausea, dizziness, abdominal pain, eyelids/tongue/face, lips swelling, runny nose, itching and breath shortness.Another possible cause is the toxic shock syndrome, which is associated with the release of the toxins by the staphylococcus bacteria. This problem can be created due to the menstruation, vaginal sponges, tampons, child birth and barrier contraceptives. Seizures, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, low blood pressure, muscle ache, headache, redness of the throat, mouth or eyes are common symptoms. This problem is lethal in half of the cases. These were several causes of nausea and diarrhea in the same time. Although these problems are not very alarming in most cases, it is good to seek a doctor if you are experiencing greater problems, such as persistent vomiting, vomiting of blood, severe headaches, severe stomach ache and bloody stool. Also, dehydration can be detected due to the no presence of urine output in the period of 12 hours. In this case, the doctor is needed as soon as possible.
