The kidneys are our vital organs of the urinary tract which have several important functions and for that reason we should maintain these organs healthy. However, when they are affected and damaged they may show some symptoms which warn us about their state.
There are several kidney problems which are generally known as kidney disease. Back pain related to pyelonephritis
When the kidneys are infected by the bacteria which spreads from the bladder it is called pyelonephritis and exhibits several symptoms. Certain genes are responsible for the occurrence of polycystic kidney disease and because of that it is considered to be a hereditary condition marked by very big enlargement of the kidneys which occur over many years. When the cyst bleeds flank pain usually appears accompanied by tenderness and pain in the abdominal area, hematuria and excessive urination, especially at night. Nail abnormalities, hypertension, pain in the joints and painful menstruation in women are also some of the signs of polycystic kidney disease.
