It is not uncommon for the infections to hit the digestive tract. In these cases a person will most likely experience a certain health problem, like stomach ulcers. Stomach cramps and diarrhea are the symptoms of these ailments.

Colon cancer

It is not uncommon for the stomach cramps and diarrhea to point to colon cancer. The formation of cancerous growth in the colon usually triggers diarrhea and stomach cramps. However, the problem is that the people neglect the symptoms because they are mild until the cancerous tumor becomes too big. In these situations, bloody diarrhea is present quite often.
