Improper aggressive thoughtsInappropriate sexual thoughtsBlasphemous religious thoughts

The first group includes such thoughts as hurting other people present in the person’s immediate surroundings, or hurting oneself. Thoughts sometimes also include the desire to hurt a person who is close to the individual suffering from OCD. At certain times, such thoughts even find their way into the mind of people who do not suffer from the disorder in question, with one crucial difference – they are able to deal with them so as not to affect their life radically as it is the case with people suffering from OCD. The second group of thoughts is represented by such as sexual rendezvous thoughts of any sort and with any person that the individual in question knows. Once they start treating those thoughts as real, the anxiety kicks in and in a lot of cases, depression as well. Blasphemy-related thoughts are regarded as, perhaps, the least serious ones and they include evil thoughts in the course of one’s prayer or meditation. The most prominent treatment methods that provide satisfactory results include psychotherapy and obsessive thinking medications.
