Purging as an alternative
Purging is often associated with bulimia nervosa. In this eating disorder, persons vomit after eating usually because they do not want to gain weight. It is important not to overdo it and to do it only when it is absolutely necessary, otherwise the gastrointestinal system may become damaged.

Purging should not be done repeatedly because it may cause an addiction and it can also seriously damage the gastrointestinal tract.
