Gallbladder Problems

Gallbladder is a part of the digestive tract in the humans. It is a small sac situated beneath the liver. Gallbladder helps digestion and stores bile from the liver. One of the most common gallbladder disorders are gallstones. The gallstones form due to high concentration of cholesterol and bile acid in the abdomen. This condition can cause severe pain and jaundice in patients. Another possible problem concerning gallbladder is inflammation. Inflammation of the gallbladder can cause sickness, vomiting, constipation, gases and indigestion. Other disorders which may affect the gallbladder and obstruct its function include polyps in the gallbladder, acalculous cholecystopathy which is a condition when the gallbladder does not function properly, the gallbladder tumor and congenital disorders of the gallbladder.

Natural Remedies

There is a variety of natural remedies which can help you to deal with gallbladder problems. If you want to clean your gallbladder you can make some fresh juice from carrot, cucumber and beet, and consume it a couple times a day. In case of gallstones which cause pain take pears. Pears can be eaten or you can make juice from them. Sugarless juice from dandelion can also be beneficial for problems with the gallbladder. Every part of chicory is highly recommended for treating both liver and gallbladder disorders. If you want to get rid of the gallstones without surgery, you can try the natural remedy with olive oil and lemon juice. You should drink a little of olive oil and straight away drink some fresh lemon juice mixed with water.

Diet

As far as diet is concerned, it is recommended to eat vegetarian food. Fresh fruits and vegetables will be quite helpful in managing gallbladder disorders. Cucumbers, beets, green beans, tomatoes, and sweet potatoes are highly advised vegetables. You can eat them raw of you can make juice out of them. Beneficial fruits include lemons, grapes, apples, pears, papayas and berries. Lemon juice should be drunk every day on an empty stomach. Be careful if you use onion or garlic because they can cause indigestion. If your stomach tolerates them very well, you can consume these vegetables. You should avoid greasy and fried food, diary products, and eggs. It is not recommended to eat corn, beans and nuts. You should avoid any kind of coffee, black tea and chocolate.

Prevention

If you want to reduce the risk of gallbladder problems you should have regular meals. It is not good to be overweight, so manage your weight as soon as possible and maintain it normal. Moderate exercises for half an hour will prevent gallstones. You should avoid cigarettes and alcohol as well.
