Zinnat Tablets Ingredients
Zinnat tablets are the antibiotics that contain cefuroxime, which is an active type of ingredient related to penicillin and is mainly used to treat bacterial infections.
Cefuroxime works by weakening the cell walls of bacteria and killing them by doing so. It is used for many different bacterial infections and it requires oral consumption. Cefuroxime is successful in treating airway, ear, nose and throat infections, as well as infections of the skin and soft tissue, urinary tract and various infections that can be transmitted sexually. Sometimes a doctor might need a swab from the throat or perhaps a blood or urine sample in order to prescribe the medication.
Uses of Zinnat
Zinnat is mainly used for bronchitis, pneumonia and other infections of the lower respiratory tract. It is also very successful in treating infections of the upper respiratory tract and infections of the ear. Zinnat can also help to a great extent in treating inflamed conditions of the urethra and various kidney infections. Some other uses of zinnat include the treatment of gonorrhea, an inflamed cervix, skin and soft tissue infections, and even Lyme disease.
Every antibiotic medicine’s prescribed course must be finished even if the patient feels better and thinks that the infection has clearing up completely. If one stops the prescribed course, the bacteria might grow resistant to the medication and that will bring back the infection. There is also a possibility of severe diarrhea caused by an inflamed bowel, sometimes caused by this kind of antibiotic. Zinnat may cause further trouble to people who have phenylketonuria, which is a protein metabolism disorder and can be affected by phenylalanine, which is commonly found in zinnat. Zinnat should be stored in a refrigerator and should be used over the course of ten days after opening the bottle.
Who Should Not Use It and What Are Zinnat's Side Effects
People who are allergic to cephalosporin antibiotics and children younger than three months of age should not use this medication. It might be dangerous if a person is allergic to any of the medication’s ingredients. It also should betaken with caution during lactation because the medication can pass into breast milk.
