There are certain differences between the female and male hair loss issues and we will focus on the female part of the problem. Healthy body can be perceived trough the healthy hair, which means that you are likely to experience certain medical problems if you start having hair loss troubles. So, you need to see a doctor if you face with your hair falling off suddenly and excessively. Male and female hair loss patterns are different and this is something that we should keep in mind.

Androgenetic Alopecia

This is the most common of the three conditions and it is also called female pattern alopecia. This is basically baldness, but it is different from male pattern baldness. If some woman is having this problem, it does not mean that she suffers from complete baldness. But it will cause hair thinning, mostly on the crown and top of the head, as well as hair shrinking. Production of hair is done by cells but in this case, this production is compromised due to hormonal alterations during post-menopause and pregnancy periods.

Alopecia Areata

This problem causes round bald patch on the scalp and eventual hair loss on the whole scalp, which cannot be repaired. Most probable cause of this issue is autoimmune disorder amplified by certain factors such as infections, allergies, high fever and several others. Also, the hair follicles will become inactive but present, which means that the problem of alepecia areata can be avoided or treated on time. The cause of the hair loss can be treated, but only if the hair follicles are not completely destroyed.

Telogen Effluvium

This problem has another name which is diffuse hair loss, and it mostly causes hair thinning on the whole scalp region. Women suffer from this problem due to health complications like excessive stress, hormonal disturbances, chronic illnesses and nutritional deficiencies. Also, this type of hair loss problem can be treated if treatment is conducted on time. This problem does not always include complete baldness. People have one problem and that is tendency to disregard hair loss problem and to take it very likely. Hair loss is usually disregarded as irrelevant, thinking that it will go away on its own. But this is very wrong and by doing this, you will make the problem even worse. You have to react and treat the problem as soon as possible. Herbal supplements or medicines with chemicals can be used for the treatment, but whatever you choose, remember that you have to fight the problem relentlessly.
